My Everyday Routine

So today I was thinking, about what kind of make-up I actually wear every day, so I thought why not do a blog post, so here goes :)

After I've cleansed my face I use Clean and Clear Blackhead Clearing Cleanser (liquid form) on a cotton pad to help prevent me from blackheads, I've never had much trouble with blackheads, so I don't really know if helps clear them, but its definitely preventing.

After that I'll apply Avon Clear skin Professional Invisible Blemish Treatment, basically because
my skin is not very amazing, I use this to help my blemishes and I wasn't expecting much from this considering when i bought it was about £2.00 but its done quite well.

Then I apply a toner, it is usually a drugstore one, I don't think i really need to buy an expensive toner, but what I use works for me.

My final step of "skincare" would obviously be a moisturiser, I use Lacura Aqua Complete (with sea minerals) this is about £3/£4 from Aldi (i'm not sure if you have Aldi in the us) I've used this for a long time and its a great moisturiser, its of a good thickness, and it takes little time to absorb which is good if your in a rush.
Depending on the day, I either use Maybelline dream satin liquid in 001 ivory (Around £7), or benefit you rebel lite (around £21). I use both with a stippling brush, I'm more likely to use you rebel if I'm at home. I really like Maybelline dream satin liquid, panacea81 has compared it to the Bobbi Brown liquid foundation, i love the texture and think it blends well and its great value for money.

The next thing I'll do is using my maxfactor pan-stik (£6.45) I'll conceal any blemishes and dark circles, I use my fingers, because it helps to warm the product up a little, and it applies in the places you want it rather then a brush that covers a wider area.

For eyes, i start by applying Urban Decay Primer Potion (£11.50ish) and then i use my Rimmel quad 002 Smokey Brun (£4-£6) on my eyes using the lightest colour on my lid second darkest in the crease and so on. I like this because its small and great for travelling and also the shadows have a good pigmentation and work extra well with UDPP
The last step for my eyes, is mascara, i use Max Factor False Lash Effect (£11) I lovee this mascara, it has a synthetic brush, which helps to separate and volumise lashes the formulation is also great, and it doesn't transfer onto the face unless provoked

Next for the face I apply Rimmel Sun Shimmer Bronzer (£5.50) in 001 Blonde with a large powder brush using the 3-E technique, along the cheekbones i use a peachy blush such as Rimmel's 001 Santa Rose and 016 Misty Rose (both retail for around £3) blended in with the Bronzer this adds a nice glow to the cheeks, both of the two have shimmers in them, matted out with some pressed powder in summer to get rid of the reflections they look great, or can be left with the shimmer for a dazzling look.

Then after applying some clear lip gloss I'm set for the day :)
