well about 2 nights ago when i was trolling through the internet reading blog's, watching vids, facebooking the usual. I decided i wanted my blog to be something more. I want to broaden who I can talk to :D I want it to be my life. There's a million different parts that make-up me besides make up. So from now on there'll be all sorts on my blog. everything from my vintage finds, to book reviews to rants. (don't worry I'll still be doing make-up stuff!) So lets start off with a nice Cath Kidston haul.. mm.. cath kidston
So we've set about the task of redecorating the box room eh? Well I've had some lovely new professional looking furniture put in. but as for the décor I decided to go vintage style and a essential in this was Cath Kidston.
For the wallpaper I purchased 2 rolls of Antique Rose Wallpaper in Blue they were £22 a roll. luckily my mums paying for all this. I love you mummy if you ever come across this :D
Now as for bedding I like to swap around without making a big effort - So what did I buy?! a reversible duvet of course! I purchased Spot/Spray Flowers single duvet set, which includes one pillowcase for £38.00 (bloody 'ell I know). I bought two more pillow cases to match (£10 each) Its a beautiful candy pink and baby blue flower design on a white background and the other side is baby pink with white polka dots. cute eh? And yes if your looking at it on www.cathkidston.co.uk it did indeed come from the children's section - Don't judge me!
I'm also having a custom blind made and will be making some cushions and stuff for accessories so i ordered 3 metres of Provence Rose Cotton Duck Fabric in Blue for £18 a metre which ended up being £54 (oo 'eck) but I'll defiantly not be wasting it!
And that's the lot, I think the grand total was £156 luckily my mum didn't mind paying for it considering my rooms so tiny, and we've been waiting to decorate my room for two years
As for Cath Kidston's service - They were really really amazing. They sent us a confirmation email straight away letting us know everything was being sorted. We got free postage for spending over £100 (to be fair its not difficult to spend over £100 at CK) I ordered my stuff on a Saturday and it was here by the Wednesday. They packaged my order really nicely and put a nice thank you card in with the invoice.
So overall if your willing to splash your cash to make whatever room your doing up look nice. Go CK, you will not regret it!
Thanks for reading
