Things are a'changing. And a haul (:

well about 2 nights ago when i was trolling through the internet reading blog's, watching vids, facebooking the usual. I decided i wanted my blog to be something more. I want to broaden who I can talk to :D I want it to be my life. There's a million different parts that make-up me besides make up. So from now on there'll be all sorts on my blog. everything from my vintage finds, to book reviews to rants. (don't worry I'll still be doing make-up stuff!) So lets start off with a nice Cath Kidston haul.. mm.. cath kidston

So we've set about the task of redecorating the box room eh? Well I've had some lovely new professional looking furniture put in. but as for the décor I decided to go vintage style and a essential in this was Cath Kidston.

For the wallpaper I purchased 2 rolls of Antique Rose Wallpaper in Blue they were £22 a roll. luckily my mums paying for all this. I love you mummy if you ever come across this :D

Now as for bedding I like to swap around without making a big effort - So what did I buy?! a reversible duvet of course! I purchased Spot/Spray Flowers single duvet set, which includes one pillowcase for £38.00 (bloody 'ell I know). I bought two more pillow cases to match (£10 each) Its a beautiful candy pink and baby blue flower design on a white background and the other side is baby pink with white polka dots. cute eh? And yes if your looking at it on www.cathkidston.co.uk it did indeed come from the children's section - Don't judge me!

I'm also having a custom blind made and will be making some cushions and stuff for accessories so i ordered 3 metres of Provence Rose Cotton Duck Fabric in Blue for £18 a metre which ended up being £54 (oo 'eck) but I'll defiantly not be wasting it!

And that's the lot, I think the grand total was £156 luckily my mum didn't mind paying for it considering my rooms so tiny, and we've been waiting to decorate my room for two years

As for Cath Kidston's service - They were really really amazing. They sent us a confirmation email straight away letting us know everything was being sorted. We got free postage for spending over £100 (to be fair its not difficult to spend over £100 at CK) I ordered my stuff on a Saturday and it was here by the Wednesday. They packaged my order really nicely and put a nice thank you card in with the invoice.
So overall if your willing to splash your cash to make whatever room your doing up look nice. Go CK, you will not regret it!
Thanks for reading

oh bugger.. a midnight rant.

okay so its nearly midnight and I'm bored I've been looking for a magnification mirror, and various storagey bits and bobs for the makeup and also trolling through youtube for the past hour, and now I'm fed up with that so I thought maybe a little bit of a rant should take place.

Okay first thing. my skin lovingly decided to give me a nasty breakout. It might have had something to do with the fact I had 5 takeaway meals in 3 days, it wasn't my fault honest! Let me explain to you the story of the 5 takeaways. Well it all started off on a Thursday afternoon when my brother and his friend were popping out to dominoes, and because he was is so loving he told me he'd get me wedges. See it started off small I tell you! Just wedges, so I gladly ate them and they were rather yummy :)

Then because my mum was working late and couldn't be bothered to cook when she got home, so we had fish and chips, and I love anything from the chip shop. so i had my kiddy's meal chicken nuggets and chips, coated in vinegar may I add, and that was ratherr nice

The nextt morning we were off to do a bit of early morning shopping, and where we were going there just happened to be a McDonalds, oh how could I refuse! So we had McDonald's breakfast and I had a sausage and egg mcmuffin, and a hash brown, best breakfast of all time i kid you not. But I did have water to drink with it! thats about as healthy as the 3 days got.

Later that day I was off to my friend Helen's for a little gathering with a few lovely people. I would just like to add here, Helen's mum is the nicest person ever, she alway's feeds you if your round :) So to start off with we all had a little snack which was a bag of crisps. I had cheese and onion pombears, cos I love 'em. :)

Then thank the lord for Helen's mum who kind of rescued us abit and chopped up loads of fruit and stuff and put it with some melted chocolate to dip. There were strawberries, apples, marshmellows, grapes, and these weird little sweets that were soft and tasted like fruit?

And that was like the nicest snack ever. cos it was like healthy stuff, in chocolate! Probably like kills all the goodstuff in the fruit, but atleast you feel like you've had part of your five a day!

Oh and then came the even more unhealthy stuff (it's lucky I have a high metabolism or I'd probably have gained loads throughout these three days!) Helen must love us cos she cooked us some cheesy garlic bread, which i had about 3 pieces of whilst laid in her bed oooft. And that was even more sexyness.

Then because she had vouchers, Helen's mum got us pizza hut and we had two margarita's one deep dish, one thin, so i think I had about 3 slices of that and oh my god i love pizza :)

Then the next day, me and my friend Sian were off shopping to Meadowhall, so lunchtime came and we went to the usual place. More McDonald's. dear god help me. and I had myself a beautiful quarter pounder with cheese, fries and a coke. This was the last meal of takeaway weekend but it was bloody good!

When I got back from shopping I was so happy to see a home cooked meal on the table. So that weekend was really good while it was happening, but now its all caught up with me and given me some oh so sexy spots. This has to be living proof, that if you eat a load of crap, your skin will be a load of crap.

In other non related fast food news. I have new wardrobes and am in the process of redecorating my room so woop woop. I have also been ill since hmm.. friday? just a
cold, but I feel like such a big poo. I've gone through so much vaseline, water, Sudafed and cough sweets, its ridiculous I blame my brother. ;(
I'm now a student! I won't disclose my college, cos that would be pervy. But I get Tuesdays and Wednesdays off so all is good. apart from I hate fine art.
If anyone wants to employ me, give me a shout. because I'm bloody skint. no change there then..

thanks for reading this rant :)
